Yes! Classmates explore skills in groups of 3-4.
-
100% true!
-
Nope. Our acro scene is more like a sports team than a dating pool. Some folks do find romantic connections, but we advise proceeding with lots of clear communication and a healthy respect for boundaries.
-
Nope. We recommend verbally asking for consent prior to hugging somebody, unless they have already given you blanket consent :)
-
Are you kidding me? You are amazing. Come meet us. We're waiting! Are you here yet?
-
Arrive clean with trimmed toenails. We find that stretchy, form-fitting workout-wear is best. Avoid clothing with pockets as well as sheer and slippery fabrics. Loose shirts are fine to wear as long as they are long enough to tuck in.
For folks not into leggings, 4-rth brand has great options.
For male-bodied folks new to leggings, many individuals enjoy the support and aesthetic of an undergarment for the occasion called a “dance belt.”
-
Mats are provided. A water bottle & workout towel are always nice to have.
